NativeWaves was established in 2016 in Salzburg, Austria, by two students of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. The journey, which began with the quest to find a solution for viewers to enjoy movies in the language of their choice in the cinema, has culminated today with NativeWaves becoming a cutting-edge video and audio encoding company. The company is backed by a team of international investors and managed by a diverse group of professionals with years of industry experience.

Since 1996, Pascal Levensohn has been the Managing Partner of Levensohn Venture Partners LLC (LVP) and the CEO of Levensohn Global LLC (LG) and its predecessor entities.
Pascal has advised the Dolby family since 2011 and is currently a Managing Director of Dolby Family Ventures, which he co-manages with David Dolby.
